Curbside recycling

The City of Lyndhurst provides weekly curbside recycling for city residents. Commingle all recyclables (mixed paper, cardboard, cans, glass, plastic) in the provided wheeled cart. Recycling is hauled to Kimble Transfer & Recycling in Twinsburg.

Drop-off recycling

Medications Local police departments
Paper shredding April 30 and September 24, 2024 Mayfield Road, 11:30-3:30.

Special recycling collections

What Where 
Computers  Year-round curbside collection or drop-off at 5301 Mayfield Road during open hours.
Haz waste Year-round drop-off for residents only, 5301 Mayfield Road, M-F 7:30-3:00. Weekend drop-offs (Sat.-Sun.) only from April 5-November 16, 11:30-3:30.  No latex paint.
Scrap tires Drop-off every Saturday and Sunday in September, 5301 Mayfield Road, 11:30-3:30.
Campaign signs Does not participate. 
Holiday lights  Does not participate.
