Green Tip of the Week

Green Tip of the Week for 28 January 2024

Tackle recycling during the biggest football game of the year!  Nationwide, 650 million beverage containers are sold over the Super Bowl weekend.  A simple game plan to collect bottles and cans at your Super Bowl party will remind your friends that recycling is a big win for the environment. The containers can be recycled through your community recycling program or at a local scrap metal yard.

IN THE SPOTLIGHT

3 R's Photo Contest

Students ages 6-18 can take a digital photo of anything related to the 3 R’s: reduce, reuse and recycle and enter it in our contest. It could be a spontaneous or a planned photo shoot.

Entries due January 31st.  For more details and last year's winners, view the contest page.
