Paper Recycling Drop-Offs

Drop-off bins for mixed paper in Cuyahoga County

Mixed paper, including newspapers, magazines, junk mail, brown core tubes, wrapping paper, phone books, and shredded paper (in brown craft bags), can be dropped off at these locations in Cuyahoga County. Cereal boxes and other food boxes, without wax, metal or foil inserts, are also accepted but should not have food waste in them. Do not recycle to-go food containers and pizza boxes in these bins.

Paper Retriever

Schools, places of worship, and other community groups can raise money by hosting a Paper Retriever bin in their parking lot where the public can drop-off household and business paper for recycling. The Paper Retriever Program is the world's largest newsprint recycler and newsprint producer. Paper Retriever started this collection program to obtain the paper they need to make new recycled paper. The program is available in many U.S. cities.

Look for these green and yellow bins in your neighborhood and recycle magazines, catalogs, junk mail, newspapers, and other household paper including phone books and cardboard.  To host a Paper Retriever bin, contact representative Denise Piotrowski at (216) 961-3900.
