Greater Cleveland Recycling Initiative Member
Works to develop local recycling markets and increase local
manufacturing of recycled products. Conducts solid waste
and recycling awareness and education activities. Provides
collection events for select recyclables and household
hazardous wastes. Publishes wide variety of recycling
brochures and manuals. The District's mission is to provide
cost-effective and environmentally sound solid waste
management for those who live and work in Cuyahoga County.

Division of Recycling and Litter Prevention
Advocate for waste reduction and recycling in the State
of Ohio. Compiles information on recycling activities in
Ohio and is responsible for encouraging recycling in local
communities. Administers the Recycle, Ohio! grant program
